It. Is. So. Good. Of course, this is my opinion and I’m on season 3. My beautiful son (22 years old), who recently graduated and will be moving away, asked me to watch it with him. He had already seen it. From what I have seen, it’s beautifully profound and a tragic mirror to our fallen world as it is right now. It makes my heart ache.
The fact that my son asked me to watch it with him makes it such a special, priceless experience; though a painful one. He has all the manga books. I haven’t read them yet (obviously), but probably will after we finish the series. I encourage you to try one more time.
